HELLO! And Welcome...I've made it!!! beating off litterally thousands of entrants, I've got one of the "Richard Branson Super Team 100" places. To put this in perspective, I work for Virgin Media and we have over 15,000 employee's - and for our part of the Virgin Group, there were just 14 places up for grabs, so Yes I'm fairly chuffed!
Head in the Clouds...Hence the picture on the right - starting the inaugral Virgin London Marathon with Sir Richard and his celebrity friends obviously comes at a price...£5,000 in fact - that's how much every runner in the super team is challenged to raise. 50% for Virgin Unite and 50% for East Anglian Air Ambulance...so it's very much 'head in the clouds' dreaming up canny sponsorship plans to SMASH the £5,000 target.
About the site...My aim is simple really, just to keep you updated with progress on the challenge, never forget the fact that I've got to run 26.2m in April 2010 but above all, try and make this a bit fun! From this site you can find out about all my fundraising plans and events, view all the pics and videos, get in touch, and find out how to pledge, please don't also forget to leave feedback - most precious are your thoughts on how I could raise more cash, there isn't a lot I wont try, so come on! give me a challenge worth tackling!
